Sociology

For this assignment, you must write a five page research essay on strategies for addressing social inequality. You can choose any form and any location  to focus on. You will then conduct online library research to learn more about different strategies that have been, or may be, useful in addressing this form of inequality. After learning about diverse strategies, you must choose three to focus on in your essay. In your paper, you will describe each of these strategies and why you think they hold the most potential for successfully addressing the form of social inequality you are focusing on. Although you will discuss three strategies in turn in your essay, you must ultimately present an argument regarding which one of these three strategies you believe has the most potential to end, or significantly reduce, the form of social inequality you are focusing on.
You must consult and closely engage with at least 3 academic peer-reviewed journal articles that must be referenced in your MLA/APA bibliography.  note this is the bare minimum; you may find that you need to perform more research to get a strong understanding of the best strategies for addressing social inequality.
This essay must have a clear and coherent structure, and must be thoroughly edited for grammatical errors.note it must also provide a clear and consistent argument. It is not sufficient to provide a general discussion of an issue. Rather, your position on what you are discussing should be clear and supported with evidence from external sources. Please note that you are allowed to write in the first person in this essay .
Each body paragraph of your essay must contain evidence to support your arguments, including 1-2 quotes from the scholarly text(s) you find during your research. Quotes must be properly contextualized, introduced, cited, and analyzed. All quotes must also be fully enclosed in quotation marks and be followed by a citation that lists the author’s last name and the page number where the quoted material can be found. Paraphrased material must also be followed by a citation listing the author’s last name and the page number where the paraphrased material can be found.
note that assignments that do not include MLA/APA in-text citations for all paraphrased and quoted material and an MLA/APA works cited/bibliography will receive a grade of zero.
