Writing Assignment 3: Career Based Memo

PURPOSE

Before choosing your major, you should have determined your interests, talents, strengths, and weaknesses. You should have asked yourself if you were willing to relocate if necessary, how much income you need, and if you wanted to work for yourself or an employer.

The purpose of this writing assignment is to give you the chance to explore information about your career choice and resources after you have entered a major career though this research may make you decide you want to change your career. Ultimately, though, this research should provide you with resources you can use later when you enter the job search.

YOUR TASKS

Research using Galileo and Google.com to answer the questions below.
Limit your search to current sources – within the last 2 – 5 years. The more recent the information, the more accurate it is.
You must have between five to seven sources. Including more than seven sources will result in a 10-point content deduction for every source above seven, and including fewer than five sources will result in a 15-point deduction for every source less than five.
You MUST have one source from Galileo. Failure to provide one source from Galileo results in a 20-point content deduction.
In Microsoft Word, including the MLA source citations for all of the sites that helped you answer the questions below, write me a memo in which you address the answers you discovered during your research.
In the memo, indicate which question or questions the source helped you answer but do not write the questions . You may include information that differs between sources, but you will need to answer all the questions listed below and explain why the different sources give you different information .
You must have in-text citations with a corresponding works cited page that includes MLA full source citations.
